Benefit | Gimme Brow

It’s been on the shelves less than 48 hours and Benefits’s ‘Gimme Brow’ is already quoted to be the fastest selling launch product since the beloved ‘They’re Real’ mascara for the brand. As a massive Benefit fan I just couldn’t wait to get my hands on it; I took a trip to Bristol ready for the ‘Briz Bloggers Meet’ the next day and popped into to Debenhams to get my brows waxed. Embarrassingly early for my appointment, I mooched around for a bit before sitting and having my brows waxed and tinted for the first time as part of their ‘Brow Arch March’ campaign – For those of you who don’t know, it’s an amazing campaign where all eyebrow waxes are paid for with a donation to a charity instead of paying the standard £11.50. A brilliant excuse to go and get your brows waxed in March!

I then tottled on over to Boots in Broadmead to the Benefit counter there, as many of you know this is where I held part of my Bristol Bloggers meet and where I met the amazing Benebabe, Ashton. After a little lunch with her, I met her back at the counter and she gave me a makeover (if there’s one thing about being friends with a Benebabe it’s priority in makeovers). This is where she gave me the lowdown on the amazing ‘Gimme Brow’.

I’ve completely fallen in love with this new brow gem and honestly couldn’t go back to just using my Browzings alone. This product really works well on the brows to give them great colour and definition and is very buildable. I start from the inner edger of my brow and brush against the hairs – Yep, you heard me correctly. I first use the fiber gel against my hairs to make sure they’re fully covered and then smooth back over going with the grain of my brows. I adore how the gel sticks to the hairs and doesn’t just colour in the skin below like many brow products do and also love how you can use it as a stand alone product or use it above BrowZings for a more intense and groomed look. The applicator brush is also the perfect size for brows – Benefit have really thought this through and trumped all over brow gel’s out there with this initative!
