Eat 3 Balanced Meals

A habit of many busy father’s is to skip meals or even just eat the scraps from their children’s plate, but if this sounds like you then you must make an immediate change. Not only will you be causing yourself physical damage, you’ll also be passing on these negative habits to your children too – would you feel comfortable if they were not eating 3 balanced meals each day? If not, then why are you comfortable putting yourself through such distress and malnutrition? Make an effort to consume a big breakfast that focuses around complex carbohydrates, and consume a healthy lunch that includes a source of energy rich protein. Be sure to eat at least 5 portions of fresh fruit and vegetables each day, as you need a wealth of different vitamins and minerals to perform at your best both mentally and physically.

Take Pride In Your Appearance

Throwing on the same shirt and jeans combo that you’ve been sporting for the past 4 days having not showered or shaved is going to have an enormous impact on your confidence and self worth, and it will affect you emotionally far more than you might expect. Lacking the motivation to take pride in your appearance is so common for busy father’s as so many other responsibilities are fighting for your attention, but you need to look and feel your best if you’re going to be able to navigate your day in the most confident manner taking advantage of every opportunity life throws at you. Whether this means scheduling a morning routine of cleansing and moisturising, resolving your insecurities by researching a hair or beard transplant in the UK, or even just upgrading your wardrobe to better suit your unique style, just make an effort to love yourself a little more.

Practice Calmness & Peaceful Living

It can be totally stressful to work and look after a child, so you may find it difficult to relax and unwind as a result. Practising calmness and aiming to lead a peaceful life will change the way that you feel dramatically, allowing you to approach situations with a whole new outlook to reduce the pressure currently pushing down on your shoulders. Taking part in a daily session of mediation in the evening before you head to bed can be the perfect solution.
