Christmas Gift Guide FOR HIM 2017

Welcome to gift guide number three for 2017, my Christmas Gift Guide for Him! We’re getting nearer and nearer to Christmas now and what better way to get the countdown to Chistmas going properly than picking up those last minute gifts for the Men in your life (if you haven’t done so already)! This year’s Christmas Gift Guide for Him isn’t too lengthy but it just about covers all of the basis for price ranges and is great to get the ideas rolling – especially since there’s just over a week left until the big day! The men in my life are always the hardest to buy for, so for all you last minute shoppers, I thought this Christmas Gift Guide for Him would be the perfect post on this cold Thursday!

UGG Slippers – £80

Probably one of the best gifts for any man who loves keeping his tootsies warm! Ugg are the Ultimate when it comes to slippers and these have to be the cosiest. Steve is super happy with his (I couldn’t keep them for Christmas) and although they’re suede, a little protection spray all over gives them the protection they need from any spilt items (yes Steve I’m looking at you and that cup of tea). The Sheepskin lining makes them super soft and cosy and just the perfect luxurious gift this Christmas. You can pick yours up at Amara.

Oral-B Pro 2 – £79.99 (currently on sale for £34.99)

Steve and I actually bought this for ourselves a few weeks ago and purchased some extra toothbrush heads   so that we could share it! It’s not the most glamorous of gifts but teethy hygiene is always a necessity and a toothbrush like this isn’t always at the top of someones priority list when there’s other bits to buy. I call these types the ‘helpful gifts’ of my Christmas Gift Guide for Him as they’re the perfect gifts they want but probably don’t need. In the sale this is such great value and any guy would definitely appreciate this one! And hey, if it’s for your partner, buy some extra heads like we did and then you can share – just switch the heads every time you use it!

Amazon Echo Dot – £49.99 (currently on sale for £34.99)

Since getting our Echo Dot, Alexa has become my best friend and I don’t think I could go back to not having her around. At £34.99 these are the perfect gift for the guys in your life! My dad actually bought his first for the kitchen and living room and after not a lot of diliberation at all, Steve and I decided to get one for ourselves and we haven’t looked back. The Echo Dot is such a great device and with so many extra features than just being able to play music with a simple “Alexa play XXX” it’s an all round great bit of kit for the tech-savvy in your life.

L’Occitane Cédrat Gift Set for Men – £62

“A dynamic duo bursting with a masculine citrus scent” – the perfect gift set for any man in your life who likes little bit of luxury. This set contains a 100ml Cedrat Eau De Toilette and a 250ml shower gel in the same zesty and energising scent and is a great combo for a Christmas Set.

Clinique Men’s Gift Set – £30-£60

A Luxury skincare gift set is always well received with my boyfriend and although Skincare doesn’t sound the obvious choice for men at Christmas, it’s always something appreciated (even if they don’t tell you that themselves). Men’s grooming is most definitely on the rise and although there’s still very much a stigma on most men not bothering with looking after their skin other than a quick face wash, it’s pretty much the opposite with most men I know. A Clinique gift set like this is perfect for someone like your boyfriend or say slightly older Nephew or Son as they get to learn about looking after their skin. My boyfriend bought this set for himself at the Costmetic’s outlet store in Swindon a few weeks ago and he loves it! I’m not sure if this exact set is still available as I can’t find it online but Clinique have some other great mens sets out this year that you should definitely check out!

Ted Baker Key Holder Gift Set – £15 (Down from £20)

A classic Ted Baker Gift set from Boots is always a great choice for Christmas. Far better than the standard Lynx smelly sets this Ted Baker set comes with a 200ml Hair and Body Wash, a 150ml Body Spray and Key Holder, so not only will the men you gift this too smell amazing but will also be (semi) organised as of Christmas. For £15 this set is really great value and for such a great brand it says a lot more than your standard aftershave sets – especially with the added extra of the key holder!

Next Men’s Signature Aftershave Set – £15

When it comes to Next fragrances for Men you really can’t go wrong. They’re a gorgeous scent for an incredible price and I don’t think I’ve gifted on yet that any man hasn’t liked. For the tiny price of just £15 you get a 100ml signature aftershave and Body lotion and that cannot be sniffed at when Christmas seems to get more and more expensive every year. Next do some amazing gift sets for Men and at such amazing prices you should definitely be checking them out! I think as it doesn’t have a designer name on it sometimes people can get a bit put off by buying own brand fragrances but honestly Next give all of the high end brands a run for their money!

Nando’s Sauce Trio – £16

If there’s one thing my boyfriend (almost) loves more than me and his daughter, it’s food and what better gift for a man who loves food than a Nando’s sauce trio? Spicing things up when it comes to food is always the way forward and with this amazing set you can have the infamous Nando’s sauces at home every night of the week. Including a Mild, Medium and Hot sauce each with their own pouring top this set is one of the best out there for anyone who loves a cheeky Nando’s or just spicing up their meals!

Destiny 2 / Call of Duty WW2 for PS4 / Xbox One – £45.99

No Christmas would be complete without a couple of new gaming launches and although I don’t like to condone Steve playing on his Xbox all of the time, he does need some ‘boy’ time every now and again (I know right, I’m sooo generous). For that reason, the gift of the new Destiny 2 or Call of Duty WW2 games couldn’t really go a miss and as they’ve just been launched, I know he’ll be even more excited to received them as a gift. What is it with boys and their games? Last year I bought him Fifa, so I know this year he’s super excited to get Call of Duty WW2 (with the added surprise of Destiny 2 under the tree as well) – let’s hope he’s not reading this!

That’s all for this year’s Christmas Gift Guide for Him and the end of my gift guides for this year! I’d love to know if you like any of these gift ideas or if you have a Christmas Gift Guide for Him at all that I could have a browse at as I am still struggling for something else for Steve!! Don’t forget to take a peep at my Christmas Gift Guide for Her and Christmas gift Guide for Baby too!
