Clarins Everlasting Cushion Foundation; the everyday foundation

Whilst I’ve loved Clarins and their foundations for years now it has always been a bit of a faff when it’s come to staying away and taking a foundation with me. Their Everlasting Foundation is one of my everyday favourites but travelling with it isn’t always easy as it’s quite a weighty glass bottle. With the same formula as the Everlasting+ Foundation, Clarins’ new Cushion Foundation is the perfect answer to your travel makeup needs and is something that quite honestly I’ve been waiting for for quite some time.

With the lightweight and breathable features of the classic Clarins’ foundations and the easiness of a compact foundation, the new cushion foundation is perfect for when you’re on the go. It combines the best features of two great products to create a full coverage compact foundation which is just as good as any of it’s predecessors. Applied with either the included sponge or with your own Beauty Blender or foundation brush it gives a beautiful coverage which can be lightly built up for an even better base. Even without much concealer it covers blemishes really well and doesn’t cling to dry areas like a lot of full coverage foundations can.

I’ve been a Clarins fan since I can remember now and although their products aren’t always the cheapest out there, for the quality they’re most definitely worth it. The Clarins Everlasting Cushion foundation comes in a sleek white and silver compact complete with mirror and applicator sponge; as always it epitomises class as do all of their other releases and the quality is beautiful. As with the foundation itself the compact is also lightweight which again makes it perfect for travelling with. For 10 hour wear and with SPF 50 this is the perfect companion for taking away on holiday too as you’re protected from the Sun. Clarin’s have thought of everything when it comes to their Cushion foundation and although there are plenty more out there, from what I’ve tried so far, this one is one of the best. The coverage which (I felt) has often been lost within a cushion compact is most definitely there with this one and I definitely recommend if you’re a fan of the Everlasting foundations.

I’ve always been reluctant to try a cushion foundation because I feel like it will run out so quickly. Have you found this? x

I haven’t actually – It’s lasted quite a while to be honest but I know what you mean as some I’ve used in the past run out sooo quickly!
