The Working Girl

As many of you may know, last year I was unemployed for a very long time and living in my pyjamas or ‘comfies’ most days was just not very fashionable of me. Just before Christmas, however, I managed to get a full time job in a very large company in a town nearby where I live. It’s been quite difficult to get into the routine of things and adjusting to the early mornings, but overall, my biggest challenge has been my wardrobe. What does a nineteen year old working girl wear?

After some very generous Christmas gifts of gorgeous pencil skirts and pretty blouses to get me started, I’d gotten the bug and just had to find more outfits to be stylin’ in the office. The first of (hopefully) many more to come is this great outfit (above). I spotted this gorgeous dress in Topshop whilst wondering the shops during my Bristol Bloggers Meet and fell in love after briefly trying it on. It’s such a lovely fit and not too short for it to be inappropriate, which is definitely a must. I paired it with my beloved Dorothy Perkins Quilted Faux Leather Jacket and Zara bag.

I hope my work fashion continues and I manage to find other beauts likes this gorgeous dress.

What are your go-to work fashion must haves?
